Sound Characteristics

The JJ configuration (two J-Style pickups) offers a broad palette: neck pickup for a round and clear foundation, bridge pickup for more bite and precision, and both combined for a very effective "modern vintage" balance in a band setting. The okoumé body contributes to a quick and resonant response, while the torrefied maple neck adds attack and stability.
