This 4-string is aimed at intermediate to professional bassists seeking a lightweight, reliable, and immediate instrument under the fingers. The J/MM combination naturally covers pop, rock, funk, soul, R&B, fusion, gospel: fingerstyle for precise lows, pick for a punchy low end, or slap for a clear attack. The VTC rounds off the high end with a "vintage tone" feel, while the active EQ provides extra presence to help cut through the mix without harshness.

The J-Style "stacked" neck pickup offers a round, defined, and above all silent tone, ideal for clean and articulated lines. At the bridge, the M-Style Alnico V humbucker adds attack, growl, and modern punch that instantly responds to playing nuances. The Sadowsky 2-band active preamp (bass/treble boost) enhances dynamics without altering the instrument's character, and the VTC fine-tunes brightness like a true passive tone control. The push/pull bypass allows switching to passive mode in a second for a more organic character. Finally, the okoumé/padauk duo promotes quick response, good projection, and natural sustain, reinforced by the stability and precision of the torrefied maple neck.
