A Modern Superstrat Built for High Gain
Designed with the spirit of current stage guitars, this "Ink Bomb" focuses on performance-oriented luthiery: a through-neck for stability and consistency, an "Ultra Access" ergonomic design to never hit a wall at the top of the neck, and locking hardware made to withstand rehearsals, gigs, and studio sessions. Its "Ink Bomb" finish asserts a sharp look, perfectly matching its decidedly modern character.
Who Is It For and What Styles?
This electric guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a responsive and uncompromising instrument. The Thin 'C' profile and 24 Jumbo frets favor fast techniques (alternate picking, legato, tapping) as well as wide stretches in solos. It excels in modern metal, metalcore, hard rock, and prog, with tight palm-muted rhythms and precise leads, including in standard or slightly dropped tunings.
Sound
The mahogany body provides a dense and powerful foundation, with solid lows and present mids, while the ebony fingerboard adds definition and a sharper attack to maintain clarity on fast riffs. The through-neck enhances the instrument's vibrational continuity: you gain sustain, and the tone remains consistent across the entire 25.5" / 648 mm scale length. On the electronics side, the Seymour Duncan Alt Metal Blackout pickups deliver an aggressive sound, very clean in distortion and particularly precise at high gain levels, with effective note separation in complex chords. The simple control layout of 1 Volume, 1 Tone and a 3-position selector switch allows quick shifts from massive rhythm to sharper lead tones without losing control.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To maintain the original tension and feel, a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 (.010-.046) strings is perfectly suited. For transport, the SGR-1C case is listed as a compatible option (not included).
