A Schecter Designed with the "Ultra-Access" Spirit
This Schecter embodies a decidedly modern approach: performance-oriented luthiery, optimized upper fret access thanks to the Ultra-Access joint, and electronics designed to meet the current demands of rock and metal. The mahogany body provides a solid and resonant foundation, while the "Przym Vespid Metallic Red" finish, combined with black hardware and black binding, delivers a bold and premium look, equally at home on stage or in the studio.
Who Is It For and What Styles?
This guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a precise, stable, and expressive playing machine. It excels in modern metal, hard rock, prog, shred, and all high-gain music where definition and tuning stability are crucial. The Sustainiac also opens an impressive creative field for ambient music, cinematic intros, and "violin-like" solos with extended sustain, without relying on extreme stage volume.
Sound
The mahogany/ebony combination delivers a tone that is both dense and cutting: rich mids, solid foundation, and clear attack. At the bridge, the Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic provides firm lows, present mids, and sharp highs, with multiple voicings via push/pull controls (Voice 2 and Voice 3) to switch from tight, percussive distortion to more open variants depending on the mix. At the neck, the Sustainiac radically changes the instrument's expressiveness: note sustain, controlled harmonics, and infinite pads controlled by a 3-position selector and two dedicated mini-switches. Finally, the Floyd Rose 1500 completes the setup by allowing deep vibrato effects while remaining reliable thanks to the double-locking system.
