New to the SLS Elite series, the Evil Twin follows the codes of modern performance-oriented guitars: a multi-ply through-neck designed for stability, fast playing ergonomics, and technical choices made to maintain tuning and withstand the most demanding styles. Adjustment is facilitated by the truss rod wheel, convenient for fine-tuning the action without wasting time.

It excels in modern metal, hard rock, djent, prog, and any genre requiring rhythmic precision, tight palm-mutes, and singing leads. The Floyd Rose also opens the door to expressive techniques (vibrato, heavy tremolo) while remaining consistent for heavier tunings.

The pickup duo clearly emphasizes modernity: the Fishman Fluence Modern (humbucker, ceramic magnet) at the bridge favors a sharp attack, tight lows, and excellent definition, ideal for dense distortions. The Sustainiac adds another palette: controlled sustain and notes that "hold" for solos, harmonies, and more atmospheric textures. On the lutherie side, the through-neck enhances the sense of continuity and sustain, while the ebony fingerboard and compound radius 12" to 16" (305 to 406 mm) support fast playing: comfortable for chords near the nut and flatter for bends and shredding higher up the neck.
