This Schecter is particularly aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a comfortable 6-string with easy access to the upper frets thanks to the 24 frets. It performs well in rock, hard rock, modern metal, punk, and any situation where firm riffs, tight palm mutes, and solos that cut through the mix are desired. The passive electronics (volume/tone + 3-way selector) are also well suited for those prioritizing efficiency on stage and in rehearsal.

The Sound

The mahogany body provides a dense and warm foundation, with generous low mids and good sustain, ideal for heavy rhythm playing. The ash top adds attack and clarity, useful for maintaining definition at high gain. The two Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers (metal covers) deliver a thicker sound than single coils, with an output level suited for distortion: tight lows, present mids, and precise highs. The 3-way selector allows quick switching from a rounder neck pickup to a sharper bridge pickup, with a balanced middle position.
