Designed to meet the demands of today's bassists, this Schecter emphasizes playability, precision, and a bold look. The combination of stable luthiery (bolt-on maple neck) and modern ergonomics makes it comfortable on stage and in the studio, with a clear performance-oriented focus.

This 5-string electric bass is especially aimed at intermediate to advanced bassists who want a true low-end extension without sacrificing comfort. It suits styles requiring solid foundation and articulation: modern rock, metal, punchy funk, gospel, fusion, as well as deep lines in R&B. The slim "C" profile and 16" / 406 mm radius also favor fast runs and modern techniques.
The Sound
The linden body provides a balanced response, with solid lows and clear mids, while the maple top enhances definition and attack, useful for maintaining clarity in dense mixes. The maple neck supports dynamics and precision, and the rosewood fingerboard rounds out the upper spectrum for a more musical output. The Schecter Diamond Bass pickups are designed to deliver a balanced signal, with good presence and well-controlled lows, especially appreciated on a 5-string with a 34" / 889 mm scale.

To maintain the original string gauge, opt for Ernie Ball 5 String Super Long 2850 (.045-.130) (same string set as factory-installed). For transport and protection, the bass is reported compatible with the SGR-6B gig bag (sold separately).
