For whom, and for which styles?

This 6-string electric guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want a comfortable instrument to work on right-hand precision, fast riffs, and fluid solos across 24 frets. It excels in metal, hard rock, modern rock, and styles requiring a dense and defined sound. Thanks to the push/pull and 3-position selector, it can also cover more nuanced registers for clean passages or more open rhythm parts.

The sound

The mahogany body provides a warm and thick tonal foundation, with present lows and rich mids, perfect for saturated guitars that stay "full" in the mix. The string-through hardtail bridge promotes a clear attack and stable sustain, very useful in low tunings and precise rhythmic playing. The two Schecter Diamond Decimator humbuckers deliver a powerful and tight sound, with good definition when saturated; the 3-position selector allows quick switching from the sharpness of the bridge pickup to a rounder tone at the neck, while the push/pull volume adds a nuance option to vary the grain without complicating use. The wenge fingerboard and 14" radius reinforce the "modern" feel: controlled bends, possible low action, and facilitated fast playing.

The Schecter C-6 Pro comes factory-equipped with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 strings in gauge 10-46: you can stick with this set to maintain the factory balance and versatile feel. A gig bag is available as an option: SGR-1C (sold separately).
