Damien: The Return of a Series with a Strong Character
With the Damien series, Schecter brings back an electric guitar with a dark and bold style, designed for musicians who want a strong aesthetic without sacrificing performance. This version retains the DNA of the range: immediate playability, performance-oriented components, and a pickup duo crafted to deliver a massive, articulate sound ready for both stage and studio.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
This Schecter Damien is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists looking for a simple, reliable, and responsive solid-body. Its 25.5" / 648 mm scale length and 24 frets accommodate standard tunings as well as tighter setups, with excellent clarity on solos. It is particularly suited for metal, hard rock, punk, and all styles requiring tight rhythms, sharp palm-mutes, and leads that cut through the mix.
Sound
The combination of a mahogany body and maple neck provides an ideal balance between full lows, present mids, and a crisp attack. The two Schecter Diamond Heretic humbuckers offer high output and good definition, perfect for modern distortions without muddiness in the low end. The electronics remain intentionally straightforward with a 3-position selector, one volume, and a push-pull tone control: allowing quick shifts from thick, aggressive tones to more airy textures, while keeping the instrument performance-oriented.
