A classic revisited: set neck, Tune-O-Matic, and modern finishes

This guitar follows the tradition of electric guitars with a set neck and Tune-O-Matic bridge: a design renowned for its stability, clear attack, and ability to deliver generous sustain. The flamed maple top adds a sharper edge and highlights a refined aesthetic, while contemporary details (compensated nut, compound radius, locking bridge) enhance precision and daily playing comfort.

Who is it for, and what styles?

With its thin neck, jumbo frets, and humbucker pair, this model is especially suited for intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking quick playability and a true dynamic range. Perfect for rock, hard rock, powerful blues, and lead styles (solos, bends, vibratos), while remaining comfortable on thick, defined rhythms.

The sound

The combination of mahogany (body and set neck) and flamed maple top offers an effective balance: full lows and warm roundness, counterbalanced by a sharper attack and more defined highs. The Pale Moon ebony fingerboard enhances clarity and response, ideal for maintaining definition on saturated chords and legato lines. Regarding pickups, the Seymour Duncan '78 at the bridge pushes harder, with bite and impact for riffs and solos, while the Seymour Duncan '59 at the neck favors warmth and smoothness, very musical for leads and bluesy phrases. The compound radius helps raise the action without fret buzz during bends, providing a more "modern" feel across the entire fretboard.

Recommended compatible accessories

To maintain the original gauge, opt for Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 (010-046) strings. For transport and protection, the 1702 SGR-E-1 Hardcase is recommended as a compatible option (sold separately): the safest choice to secure the instrument during travel.
