The Sound

The combination of a mahogany body and flamed maple top offers a tone that is both dense and articulate: mahogany provides rich low-mids and warmth, while maple adds attack and clarity, useful when overdriven. The Diamond Plus humbuckers deliver a rather round and powerful sound, with a bridge pickup that retains bite and supports high gain. The passive electronics, 3-position selector switch, and 2 volume + 1 tone controls allow quick shifts from massive rhythm tones to softer registers without complicating use.
