The Schecter Reaper 6 targets intermediate to advanced guitarists who want a fast, precise guitar comfortable in standard tunings as well as heavier riffs. The Diamond Decimator humbuckers are particularly suited for modern rock, metal, and hard rock, while still capable of more nuanced tones via the push/pull tone control to vary textures in crunch and clean settings.
The Sound
The swamp ash body delivers a dynamic response, with firm lows and a well-defined high end, ideal for maintaining clarity in a dense mix. The " Burl " top mainly enhances the instrument's visual identity, while the combination of the multi-ply maple/walnut neck and ebony fingerboard promotes attack, precision, and a clear tone in fast passages.
