This model is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want a responsive guitar for metal, hard rock, and styles requiring excellent tuning stability and vibrato techniques. The 24 frets facilitate extended solos, while the split (push-pull) expands the tonal palette to clearer and more biting sounds, useful in intros, arpeggios, or more "rock" passages.

The Sound

The mahogany body provides a dense and warm sonic foundation, with rich mids and a natural sustain appreciated in both rhythm and lead playing. The bolt-on mahogany neck enhances this roundness while maintaining the attack needed for precise palm mutes. The two Duncan Designed HB-108 humbuckers deliver a powerful and tight sound, ideal for modern distortion; the 3-position selector switch allows quick changes, and the push-pull enables snappier single-coil textures. The Floyd Rose Special emphasizes the "performance instrument" aspect: stability and expressive possibilities, at the cost of a more demanding setup than a fixed bridge.
