Schoeps CCM 4 L

A discreet "pencil" microphone that has become indispensable in studios and on location

This small diaphragm microphone follows the tradition of the "pencil" mics favored in studios, broadcast, and mobile recordings. Its compact design makes it an obvious choice for acoustic guitars, drum overheads, piano, strings, or ambient recordings, while easily fitting into tight spaces both on stage and in home studios.

For demanding creators, musicians, and sound engineers

Whether you're recording an acoustic duo, a stereo drum kit, or a clear, focused voice-over, this cardioid mic offers clean and focused capture. Engineers on the move will appreciate its light weight and durability, while home studio users will benefit from a versatile solution that's easy to power via an audio interface with standard +48 V phantom power.

Features designed for precision and mobility

Effective cardioid polar pattern

The cardioid capsule reduces bleed and crosstalk, improving source separation and mix clarity, especially useful in multi-mic setups and reverberant environments.

Wide and balanced response

With a 40 to 20000 Hz response, the timbre remains faithful, from articulate lows to detailed highs, ideal for capturing the nuances of acoustic instruments.

Ultra-compact form factor

Measuring 46-58 mm in length, 20 mm in diameter, and weighing only 43 g, it allows precise placement on stands, clips, or booms without adding bulk to your setup.

Ready to use

Supplied with connection cables and a carrying pouch, it transports safely and powers up instantly with standard +48 V phantom power.
