Selmer Bb CLARINET MOUTHPIECE ECHO

Henri SELMER Paris: A Historic Reference in Mouthpieces and Reeds

Founded in 1885, the Henri SELMER Paris company initially gained recognition for manufacturing reeds and mouthpieces before becoming an essential brand among musicians. This expertise has been enriched over time through the integration of CNC machining centers in the Mantes-la-Ville workshops, allowing for remarkable precision and manufacturing consistency that is hard to match. Continuing this tradition, the SELMER mouthpiece range offers various tonal aesthetics to adapt to players' preferences and playing styles.

A Mouthpiece Designed to Adapt to Your Playing, from Conservatory to Stage

Developed in close collaboration with specialists, the ECHO mouthpiece stands out for its "all-rounder" approach: it aims for a balance between ease of response, stability, and musicality. It is suitable both for the beginner clarinetist seeking a reassuring and easy-to-control mouthpiece, and for the intermediate or advanced musician looking for a reliable tool for classical repertoire, pop music, wind orchestra, or more versatile contexts.

Sound and Design

The ECHO mouthpiece is designed to offer a round and nuanced timbre, while maintaining great ease of play. Its 1.08 mm tip opening and 22 mm table length contribute to a good compromise between flexibility and control, with a response that remains comfortable across different registers. The trapezoidal chamber contributes to a balanced tonal color, with a homogeneous response that helps stabilize the attack and maintain a beautiful phrase continuity.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The mouthpiece comes with a mouthpiece patch. Ligature and mouthpiece cap not included : choose them according to your clarinet and your preferences for tightening and projection, to optimize comfort and reed stability.
