A Capsule Designed for the Stage and Interchangeable Systems

This microphone head fits the concept of wireless solutions with interchangeable capsules: you keep your transmitter and adapt the capsule to the context (noisy sets, small stages, more or less powerful vocals). Cardioid directivity remains a reliable choice for better control and mixing comfort.

For Whom and For What Uses?

Intended for singers, hosts, and speakers seeking a more focused vocal capture, it is particularly suitable for stages where multiple sources share the space. It is also a relevant choice for mobile performances when microphone position varies from moment to moment.

Isolation and Consistent Sound: The Two Key Advantages

Cardioid directivity prioritizes the voice and reduces side pickup, helping to maintain a cleaner signal. Its homogeneous response on and off axis preserves a stable timbre, useful for a natural sound and constant presence in the mix, even with imperfect microphone technique.

Questions frequently asked

Is the Sennheiser MMD 935 - 1 BK a dynamic capsule?

This microphone head incorporates a dynamic capsule and is designed for a wireless system with interchangeable capsules.

What polar pattern does the MMD 935 - 1 BK have?

The cardioid pattern favors sound captured on axis and reduces off-axis pickup. This configuration helps maintain a cleaner signal when multiple sources share the stage.

Is this capsule suitable for stage singing?

Designed for vocalists, this cardioid capsule is suitable for noisy environments and small stages. The even on-axis and off-axis response helps maintain a stable tone when the singer's position relative to the microphone changes.
