A Must-Have in the Acoustic Pro Range for Stage and Studio
The Wavelength Solo is part of the Acoustic Pro range with a simple philosophy: to provide faithful amplification of your acoustic guitar, avoiding the harshness and distortion often associated with under-saddle piezos. The result: a full, balanced, and clear tone, ready to integrate seamlessly into both live setups and recordings, while preserving the dynamics of your playing.
For Acoustic Guitarists Seeking Realistic Dynamics
This system is designed for musicians looking for a natural response and excellent output level, without compressing the right hand. Thanks to its 18 V power supply, the preamp handles strong attacks and dynamic variations better, making it a solid choice for stage guitarists, singer-songwriters, and instrumentalists demanding high definition and signal clarity.
Design Focused on Installation and System Expansion
The under-saddle transducer is designed to fit virtually all 6-string spacings and also works with most 12-string guitars. Installation is simplified on guitars equipped with 3/32 or 1/8 inch wide saddles, usually without modifying the saddle slot. The preamp includes an input for a second source, routed directly to the ring of the jack, allowing easy combination of two signals (e.g., piezo + soundhole pickup). For even more control, you can add a Wavelength Vol & Tone module in plug-and-play mode. Power is supplied by two AA batteries, and installation instructions are included.

Questions frequently asked
Is the Seymour Duncan Wavelength Solo compatible with a 12-string guitar?
The under-saddle pickup works with most 12-string guitars, as well as virtually all string spacings on 6-string guitars.
What saddle width is required to install this system?
Installation is designed for saddles 3/32 or 1/8 inch wide. With these configurations, no modification to the saddle slot is usually necessary.
How is the Wavelength Solo preamp powered?
Power is supplied by two AA batteries, providing an operating voltage of 18 V. This setup offers a higher headroom than a 9 V system, allowing better handling of strong attacks and dynamic nuances.
Can a second pickup be added to the Wavelength Solo?
The preamp includes an input for a secondary source. The additional signal is routed to the ring of the jack, enabling, for example, combining the under-saddle pickup with a soundhole pickup.
Does the system have volume and tone controls?
No EQ is built-in, but the Wavelength Vol & Tone module can be added plug-and-play to provide volume and tone controls.
