The P90 character... without the noise
The Seymour Duncan P90 Silencer Hot is aimed at guitarists who want to recapture the historic P90 tone: sharp attack, expressive mids, and very "live" dynamics. Here, the formula is slightly "boosted": a slightly beefier pickup with more treble and presence to better drive the amp, thicken crunch tones, and gain articulation in distortion.
The real daily comfort is its noiseless behavior. Where a traditional P90 can quickly pick up noise in busy environments (lighting, stages, home studios), this set aims to preserve the tonal character while limiting buzz. The result: you keep the bite and responsiveness of the P90 with a more confident use on stage and in recording.

Questions frequently asked
Does the P90 Silencer Hot reduce background noise?
Its noiseless double coil limits the buzz usually picked up in busy environments, especially under lighting or in a home studio.
What sound does this P90 Hot pickup set offer?

Does the Seymour Duncan P90 Silencer Hot Set use ceramic magnets?

Each pickup has 2 conductors. The configuration comes as a set, with one neck position and one bridge position. The covers are in Soapbar format.
