Long reserved for the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, it now joins the standard catalog, offering shorter lead times and easier access to this highly sought-after voicing.

This kit is aimed at musicians who want a Strat that sits more "open" in the mix: less compression, more definition, and a range that naturally moves from blues to rock, up to modern pop/rock textures. In clean tone, you get sharp attacks and notes that remain clear within chords. In crunch, the grain stays articulated, with a solid low end and a well-defined high spectrum.
Design and Sonic Character
The core of the sound comes from a deliberately underwound coil combined with Alnico V magnets. Seymour Duncan also worked on slightly raised pole pieces and specific calibration to achieve this characteristic scooped midrange while maintaining the essential balance on a Strat (intermediate positions, back-and-forth picking attacks, volume knob nuances). The result: a set responsive to touch, ideal for expressive blues licks, punchy rhythms, and leads that breathe.
