A left-handed T3 that embodies the "Tele" spirit: simple, effective, and highly musical

The Larry Carlton T3 LH embraces the codes that made Tele-style guitars successful: a straightforward design, no-nonsense electronics, and a sharp attack that cuts through the mix. In this left-handed version, the goal remains the same: to offer a versatile electric guitar capable of handling rehearsals, sessions, and live performances with immediate feel, while retaining the snappy and precise character expected from a Tele format.

The "Dakota Red" finish provides a strong visual presence, perfectly balanced by a 3-ply white pickguard and chrome hardware. The result is a classic aesthetic with real personality, timeless and easy to pair with any backline.

For which guitarists and styles is the T3 LH made?

Thanks to its two single-coil pickups and Tele-style ergonomics, this T3 LH is well suited for beginner to intermediate guitarists seeking a clear, expressive, and educational guitar: every note is heard, the right hand works, and every nuance counts. It is equally relevant for more experienced players who want an effective, no-fuss instrument with immediately usable tones.

In terms of styles, it feels at home in anything requiring attack and definition: rock (sharp riffs and licks), blues (grain, dynamics, response to picking), country (twang and precision), funk (chicken picking and rhythms), and pop (clear arpeggios and well-defined guitar parts). The 3-position selector allows quick switching from a biting tone to a rounder sound, then to a very balanced intermediate position for rhythms.

Sound character: mahogany + single coils, between snap and warmth

The mahogany body provides a denser sonic foundation, with rich mids and a roundness that helps add thickness, especially in overdrive. This is an interesting choice for a single-coil guitar: clarity and articulation are preserved, but with a meatier background that avoids an overly "dry" sound.

The solid maple neck, paired with a rosewood fingerboard, balances everything: maple favors attack and responsiveness, while rosewood slightly softens the high end and makes the trebles silkier. With a 9.5" / 241 mm radius, the feel is modern: comfortable for chords, yet flat enough to execute bends smoothly.

The 2 SS T3 single-coil pickups emphasize definition, dynamics, and transparency. In clean tones, you get crisp attacks and a very clear sound for arpeggios. In crunch, the guitar retains bite and responds very well to volume changes: you can clean up the tone by lowering the knob, then instantly regain character by turning it back up. The Tele bridge with 3 individual saddles contributes to this "vintage" feel: sharp attack, effective sustain, and the typical percussive quality of snappy rhythms.

Recommended compatible accessories

For regular maintenance, you can prepare a set of 6-string electric guitar strings (standard format) as well as a strap suited to your playing habits (rehearsals, stage, long standing sessions).
