Sonor AQ2 Studio Maple White Pearl 17335

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

The AQ2 series is positioned as a modern and serious solution for drummers seeking maple shells and meticulous design, without venturing into complex high-end configurations. The spirit of the range is based on a very "German engineering" approach: concrete technical choices focused on performance (tuning stability, tom mounting, resonance optimization) and an efficient design, conceived for both stage and studio.

Who This Drum Set Is For

This drum set is primarily aimed at advanced beginners, intermediate, and experienced drummers who want a responsive, musical kit capable of handling regular rehearsals and gigs. Its 20-inch bass drum configuration offers an excellent compromise between compactness and depth, ideal for pop, rock, funk, variety, modern jazz, or cover contexts where switching styles without changing the drum set is necessary.

Note: the kit is sold without hardware or cymbals. It is therefore perfectly suited for those who already own their stands and accessories or who want to build a custom setup (lighter stands for transport, heavier hardware for touring, etc.).
