Does the Soundcraft FX16ii support multitrack recording?
The direct outputs of each channel facilitate multitrack capture on a suitable recorder or interface. Channel inserts also allow integration of external processing during tracking or mixing.
What effects are built into the console?
A 24-bit Lexicon effects engine is built-in and powered by the dedicated Aux 4, configured post-fader/post-EQ. The effects return is inserted directly into the mix without requiring external effects wiring.
How many auxiliaries are available for stage monitors?
Four auxiliary sends are available. Aux 1 is pre-fader/post-EQ, Aux 2 is switchable pre-fader or post-fader, while Aux 3 and 4 are post-fader/post-EQ. Aux 4 is reserved for powering the Lexicon effects processor.
Can it be rack-mounted?
The rack format occupies 10U, with a width of 443 mm and a depth between 64 and 160 mm. Placed on a table, its dimensions are 160 x 444 x 460 mm.
What equalization is available on the channels?
Each channel features a 3-band EQ with highs at 12 kHz and lows at 80 Hz, adjustable by +/-15 dB. The midrange is sweepable from 150 Hz to 3.5 kHz, with a range of +/-15 dB and a Q factor of 1.5.
