Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The "triple flange" hoop is a recognized standard on many snare drums for its balance between lightness, response, and musicality. This 2.3 mm model aims for more stable behavior than a thinner hoop while maintaining the openness and feel typical of a triple flange, appreciated as a replacement or upgrade for an original hoop.
Who This Drum/Hoop Is For
This snare hoop is intended for beginner to advanced drummers who want to enhance the reliability of their 13-inch 6-lug snare drum, restore an instrument, or optimize tuning. Its open character and note sustain are particularly suitable for pop, rock, funk, gospel contexts, and any situation where an expressive snare drum that breathes easily is desired.
