  • Modern format designed for fast playing: 24 jumbo frets, 25.5" / 648 mm scale length, Modern D profile neck for a precise and athletic feel.

  • Plenty of punch: HH configuration with Spira Villain PRO Custom Made Alnico V pickups, ideal for tight riffs as well as singing solos.

  • Premium craftsmanship focused on sustain: black limba body with wenge top and set neck walnut/wenge for a sharp attack and generous note hold.

  • Stage and studio reliability: locking tuners, fixed bridge, and black/gold hardware, all in a satin finish.

An S1000 designed for the PRO range: performance, stability, and character

The Spira Guitars S1000 PRO Black Limba clearly fits within a "Pro series" logic: a modern electric guitar emphasizing tuning stability, playing precision, and a distinctive sonic identity. The choice of a set neck combined with dense and responsive woods (wenge, ebony) aims for direct response under the fingers and natural sustain, while maintaining a high-end aesthetic thanks to the black limba and wenge pairing. The setup is completed by coherent gear for modern amplified playing: two Alnico V humbuckers, simple and effective electronics, and a fixed bridge to maintain stable attack and well-controlled lows.

For whom and for which styles?

Thanks to its "performance" ergonomics (24 frets, relatively flat fingerboard radius, locking tuners), the S1000 PRO is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want an immediately effective guitar for rehearsing, recording, or performing live. Motivated beginners will also find a very comfortable instrument here, provided they appreciate a neck with a modern profile and a tonal character oriented towards humbuckers.

Regarding styles, its HH configuration and 25.5" / 648 mm scale length make it particularly well-suited for modern rock, metal, hard rock, progressive, and fusion. It can also cover more "classic" genres (rock, punchy pop, saturated blues) thanks to deliberately simple electronics (1 volume, 1 tone) that allow for straightforward dialing in and working with the right hand, amp selector, and volume knob.

Sound

The acoustic foundation of the S1000 PRO is based on a black limba body, a wood known for its balance between warmth and definition: lively mids, present lows without muddiness, and a high end that remains clear even when gain is increased. The wenge top adds extra firmness and precision, with a sharper attack feel and well-defined harmonics, especially appreciated on complex chords or palm-muted riffs.

The set neck (walnut/wenge) contributes to vibrational continuity between neck and body: this results in a more "connected" response and natural sustain that highlights melodic lines. The ebony fingerboard further enhances the sense of speed: immediate attack, very clean note-to-note articulation, and a particularly effective output for fast runs, string skipping, and pick rhythms. The 14" / 355.6 mm radius supports this approach: a modern compromise that facilitates bends and low action while remaining comfortable for chords.

On the amplification side, the two Spira Villain PRO Custom Made Alnico V humbuckers aim for a balance between power and dynamics: enough output level to drive a preamp and achieve dense distortion, but with an attack reactive enough to maintain touch control. In the bridge position, expect tight rhythm, focused mids, and good clarity on saturated chords. In the neck position, the sound gains roundness and thickness, perfect for singing leads and broader textures. The deliberately streamlined electronics (1 volume, 1 tone) favor simplicity: fewer controls, more immediacy, with a tone control useful for softening the high end and expanding the palette, especially in clean or crunch sounds.
