The Sound

The pair of Fender-designed Alnico single-coil pickups highlight the Jazzmaster signature: full lows, airy highs, and excellent chord definition. The Lead circuit (master volume and tone) covers the main sounds, from crisp cleans to biting crunch. The Rhythm circuit (neck pickup only, with dedicated volume and tone knobs) offers a softer, darker alternative, very effective for smooth rhythm parts or thicker melodic lines. The wood and pickups combination delivers a dynamic response, while the vintage vibrato opens the door to subtle modulations as well as more pronounced effects.
