This library is designed to compose and produce detailed orchestral arrangements directly within HALion, providing credible rendering from the sketch phase and sufficient finesse for the final mix. It is especially aimed at composers and producers of film music, trailers, and video games, as well as any production requiring expressive strings, nuanced woodwinds, impactful brass, and controlled percussion. Thanks to the numerous articulations and performance tools, you can quickly move from mockup to a lively performance without multiplying plugins or complex manipulations.

With over 500 articulations, you have a comprehensive vocabulary to write realistic and musical phrases: legato for singing lines, staccato for rhythmic passages, sustain for pads and holds, trills and effects to enhance tension or color. This variety facilitates modern orchestration, where expressiveness is conveyed as much through articulation choice as through dynamics and note transitions.

Microphone positions and high-end sound material

The library offers more than 140 GB of compressed audio samples and includes multiple microphone positions per instrument. You can thus adapt the sonic perspective to your project: a closer image for impact and precision, or a wider one for breadth and depth. In a music-to-picture context, this flexibility allows placing the orchestra at the right "plane" without over-processing with EQ or reverb.
