What is SpectraLayers 13 used for?

SpectraLayers 13 is spectral editing and audio restoration software designed for post-production, sound design and audio repair. Its display reveals how frequencies are distributed over time, allowing a hiss, resonance or squeak to be selected independently of the other elements in the recording.

For sound editors, post-production engineers, podcasters and musicians, this approach makes it possible to work with a level of precision that waveform editing cannot provide. You can clean up a line of dialogue, extract a sound effect from an ambience or prepare separate elements for mixing. Working with layers then makes adjustments easier, from a local touch-up to processing an entire section.
