A Controller Designed to Get the Most Out of Strymon
The MultiSwitch was designed as a natural extension of Strymon's flagship pedals, connecting to the dedicated jack (expression pedal input). It quickly becomes essential if you use presets live or want true "foot" control of the looper on the TimeLine, without juggling the pedal's switches.
For Which Musicians and Uses?
Ideal for regular to professional musicians, the MultiSwitch is aimed at those who play in concerts, rehearsals, or studio and want to switch sounds faster. Perfect for ambient, rock, pop, worship, or experimental approaches, especially when delay/modulation/reverb becomes a central element of the playing.
Modes, Controls, and Pedalboard Integration
With the TimeLine, you can use it as a 3-button looper (rec/overdub, play, stop) without holding TAP to enter Looper mode. In full Looper mode, it adds three instant commands: Reverse, Half Speed, and Undo/Redo, for control like a 6-button looper. On TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius, it also offers Bank, Preset, and Tap modes to navigate and tap in tempos. Depending on the firmware version, a firmware update may be required (via a MIDI to USB cable, not included).
Sound Quality
The MultiSwitch does not alter the sound: it adds no coloration, compression, or noise. Its contribution is entirely ergonomic : more real-time control, cleaner transitions between your presets, and a more musical and spontaneous approach to the looper.

Questions frequently asked
Is the Strymon Multi Switch compatible with TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius?
Bank, Preset, and Tap modes are available with the TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius pedals.
How to connect this switch to a Strymon pedal?
Connection is made to the expression pedal input of compatible models.
Can the TimeLine looper be controlled with three switches?

Is it necessary to update the TimeLine, BigSky, or Mobius to use the MultiSwitch?
Depending on the installed firmware version, an update may be required. This operation is performed via a MIDI to USB cable (not included). Mode compatibility depends on this firmware version.
Does the MultiSwitch affect the pedal's sound?
Its operation does not add any coloration, compression, or noise to the audio signal.
