Designed for electronic, hip-hop, pop, techno, bass music production and sound design, Effectrix2 transforms rhythms, vocals, synth lines, or guitars into moving textures. It excels at creating musical glitches, expressive time-stretching, precise stutters, and spectacular transitions both in the studio and on stage.

32-step effects sequencer
Paint your effects on a clear and responsive matrix: place steps, set the sequence length, and let the groove work. Each effect track layers precisely to freeze a snare, roll a hi-hat, or trigger a phaser on the last quarter of the measure.
Step modulation and full control
Every parameter is step-modulatable: From-To for targeted transitions, Step Sequencer with smoothing, LFO for rhythmic patterns, Envelope Follower reacting to signal amplitude, and Steptrain for edgy stutters. Change effects and sequences via keyboard for intuitive play.
Smart randomization
Generate inspiration on demand: randomize a complete pattern, a single effect track, or settings, with 3 intensity levels. The dedicated random modulator, featuring tempo and smoothness controls, ensures musical surprises that remain controlled.
Next-generation loops
The A and B loopers take looping further: dedicated swing, repetition patterns, progressive variation of pitch and loop size for instant freeze, rolls, or creative granularity effects.
Live performance and workflow
Store up to 12 setups per preset and trigger them via MIDI or host automation. The dynamic signal flow, per-effect Dry/Wet control, and global Mix allow seamless transitions, from subtle embellishments to controlled chaos.

How many effects are included?

How does the 32-step effects sequencer work?
With the 32-step matrix, steps can be placed on each effect track. The sequence length can be set according to the desired pattern. Overlaps allow, for example, freezing a snare or applying a phaser at the end of a bar.
Can Effectrix2 be controlled live via MIDI?
