Unique is a software synthesizer designed to sculpt expressive "vocal" timbres and modern analog textures. It excels on lead lines that cut through the mix, enveloping pads, deep basses, and memorable hooks. Whether you produce pop, electro, hip-hop, house, synthwave, or soundtrack music, its vowel filter and simple yet powerful engine speed up inspiration.
Main Features
Expressive Formant Filters
The Vowel Filter allows chaining 2 or 4 formants and playing them in multiple ways to simulate natural vocal articulations, speaking, singing, or growling. Low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and comb filters provide a classic and modern palette, perfect for animating your timbral movements.
Oscillators with Analog Grain
Two main oscillators inspired by the "Golden Age" deliver warm presence and clear transients. Saw, Triple Saw, Pulse, and Triple FM waveforms, complemented by filterable noise and a Sub Sine, cover vintage strings, synthetic pianos, aggressive leads, and dense basses.
Modulation, Playability, and Dynamics
A recordable X/Y pad, built-in sequencer, and easy-to-assign controllers (right-click) energize sounds instantly. The duophonic arpeggiator, polyphonic auto-pan per oscillator, LFOs with fade functions (rate/intensity), and polyphonic portamento enable organic performances.
Effects and Workflow
Two chained multi-effect units quickly refine the sound. The 1.5 interface adopts a flat, readable design, displays values and scales at every adjustment, and streamlines a results-oriented workflow.
