Taylor AD14ce 50th Anniversary Edition Guitar
Crafted to celebrate Taylor's 50th anniversary, the AD14ce-SB LTD introduces a second Grand Auditorium cutaway guitar in the American Dream series. This USA-made model, featuring a pair of solid walnut/spruce tonewoods, a hand-painted tobacco sunburst top, and a firestripe pickguard, offers a playing experience as musically satisfying as its visual appeal. An American Dream series anniversary guitar is entirely fitting, as this series is named after the guitar workshop where co-founders Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug first met and eventually purchased to launch Taylor Guitars in 1974. The AD14ce-SB LTD follows the distilled design ethos of the series, combining the versatility of a workhorse with a neo-vintage aesthetic appeal. The firestripe faux tortoise shell pickguard on the soundboard creates a captivating visual harmony with the golden glow at the center of the sunburst finish. Other subtle details include beveled body edges for enhanced comfort, a thin body with a matte finish, Italian acrylic dot inlays, gold Taylor tuners, silver side dots, and, emblematic of all 50th anniversary models, ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots. Sonically, the walnut and spruce pairing creates a versatile acoustic palette, making the AD14ce-SB LTD equally adept at producing intricate fingerpicked melodies, strummed chords with vibrant sustain, and everything in between. Walnut contributes pronounced mids and a balanced blend of warm lows and clear highs. The responsiveness of the spruce top, combined with our V-Class bracing architecture, allows the strings to ring with precision and pleasing musical harmony. Thanks to the highly sought-after Grand Auditorium shape, players can rely on a well-rounded guitar that easily adapts to various playing styles. The guitar is equipped with built-in ES2 electronics and a 50th anniversary commemorative label. It comes with an ultra-durable, lightweight AeroCase.HIGHLIGHTS
