A vintage-flavored spring reverb: the echo of amps, surf, and classics

Spring reverb is one of the most recognizable signatures in guitar history. Born from spring tanks integrated into amplifiers, it has shaped both "old school" atmospheres and the sharp attacks of the Californian surf scene, not to mention decades of blues and rock recordings where the guitar seems to breathe in the room. With the DRIP SPRING REVERB, the idea is simple: to recapture that bold character, not necessarily "natural," but immediately musical and incredibly inspiring.

Who is the DRIP SPRING REVERB for? From vintage grain to modern definition

This spring reverb pedal is aimed at guitarists who want color rather than a transparent reverb: blues, surf, rock'n'roll, indie, country, instrumental, and anything that loves attacks that "drip" and lively reverb tails. It suits both beginners (simple controls, quick results) and experienced guitarists looking for a dedicated spring reverb on their pedalboard.

It also works very well in live settings to add depth without drowning the playing, and in studio to provide that instantly recognizable vintage dimension. On amplified acoustic guitar, it can add character and a sense of space, especially with a moderate Mix and Tone adjusted to avoid harshness.

Simple controls, precise results: Dwell, Mix, Tone

The interface keeps it straightforward with three complementary controls. Dwell adjusts the amount of spring reverb excitation: the higher you set it, the more present, lively, and characterful the effect becomes. Mix balances the direct signal and the reverb, useful for going from a subtle veil to a much more pronounced ambiance. Tone lets you adjust the brightness of the reverb to suit your guitar, pickups, and amp (or your direct chain).

True Bypass helps preserve your core tone when the pedal is off, and the "tank-like" metal chassis inspires confidence for intensive use. Regarding power, the DRIP SPRING REVERB can run on a 9 V battery or via a PSU-SB type DC power supply (not included), making it easy to integrate with most pedalboard power setups.

Sound

The DRIP SPRING REVERB delivers a pulsating and decidedly vintage reverb: a lively texture with an attack that responds to your playing and a spring sensation that "moves" under your fingers. At low settings, it adds an immediate halo and depth, ideal for thickening a clean tone without masking it. Increasing the Dwell and adjusting the Mix yields a more pronounced effect, perfect for surf rhythms, sharp blues licks, and leads that need to stand out with a true identity.

The effect's tone is easily shaped with the Tone control: you can round it off for a softer, retro feel or brighten it to recover a more sparkling and defined reverb in the mix. The result is distinctly "spring," with that imperfect musicality that adds character and instantly recalls classic amp reverbs.
