A "ready-to-play" vocal processor designed for live singing

The Perform-V is aimed at singers who want an enhanced sound without getting lost in menus. The idea is simple: to have essential treatments (doubling, reverb, pitch correction) in a compact, rugged format that's easy to control during a concert. Whereas a heavier setup (mixing console, rack, plugins) requires time and adjustments, this vocal processor prioritizes speed and consistency with a performance-oriented logic.

Who is it for, which styles, and in what situations?

This vocal multi-effects unit is ideal if you sing solo, in an acoustic duo, perform covers, or are in a pop/rock band where the voice must remain front and center. In rehearsal, it helps quickly find vocal comfort thanks to pitch correction and suitable reverb. On stage, it delivers a "produced" vocal feel (wider, deeper) without complicating your pedalboard, and it suits both beginner singers (who want immediate results) and experienced musicians (who want to get straight to the point).

Key features and ease of use

The Perform-V combines three essential components. First, the doubling (double-tracking effect) offers three classic sounds, with variants including octave up, octave down, free octave, or tighter octave, to thicken a lead vocal, create a subtle choir effect, or add presence to a chorus. Next, the reverb is specifically designed for vocals, placing the voice in a natural space, from light "room" to a more expansive ambiance, while remaining clear in the mix. Finally, the automatic pitch correction helps you sing more in tune, particularly useful in live conditions (imperfect monitors, fatigue, stress).

To stabilize your sound from venue to venue, Adaptive Tone works in the background: EQ, compression, de-essing, and gating adjust automatically for a cleaner, more consistent, and better-controlled voice. The intelligent mic input gain simplifies setup and limits endless soundchecks before the show. The "Talk" mode lets you speak between songs with a natural voice, handy for addressing the audience without reverb or intrusive processing. On stage, compatibility with remote control via TC Helicon MP-75 or Sennheiser e835 FX microphones offers real convenience: you keep control without dropping the mic.

Sound character

The Perform-V's sonic character aims for a modern and "mix-ready" aesthetic: a voice that stands out easily, with better-controlled dynamics and polished brightness. The doubling adds thickness and a sense of width without sounding artificial if used moderately. The reverb adds depth while maintaining intelligibility, and the pitch correction can stay subtle to simply secure tuning. The whole system responds well to playing intention (attack, nuances) and allows you to move from an intimate verse to a bigger chorus without changing your entire audio chain.
