Offered in book and CD edition, this fourth part is designed to help the student gain ease, consistency, and reading speed at the keyboard. The goal is not only to add new concepts but especially to develop true fluency in their application, building on the knowledge acquired in previous volumes.
Throughout the pieces and exercises, the student encounters new keys, which gradually expands their musical vocabulary and strengthens their orientation on the keyboard. Reading is also enriched by the introduction of ledger lines, essential for navigating more comfortably beyond the staff while remaining precise in pitch.
Rhythmically, the dotted quarter note is explained and contextualized to be understood and then automated in playing. On the interpretation side, this method also introduces a simple use of the pedal, allowing exploration of a more connected and singing sound while laying a good foundation for coordination.
The accompaniment CD transforms practice sessions into genuine musical moments: the tracks, created with orchestrated backing tracks (MIDI), support the student like a "band" or ensemble. Each track is designed to be used in several ways thanks to the left/right balance: centered balance to hear piano + accompaniment, fully left balance to practice with accompaniment alone, and fully right to listen to the piano part alone.
