A New Benchmark in the TPS 2024 Series
The TPS-12 is part of the TONECITY "TPS 2024" series, designed to provide next-generation isolation on every output. It offers a modern solution for increasingly demanding pedalboards by combining safety, silent operation, and current reserve.
Designed for Demanding Guitarists and Bassists
Whether you play intense sets, switch between digital and analog pedals, or record direct input, the TPS-12 stabilizes your signal chain. It powers complex setups effortlessly while preserving the dynamics and clarity of your effects.
Key Features and Benefits
Total Isolation and High Capacity
Each output is electrically isolated to prevent ground loops and hum. The 4 outputs at 9 V / 500 mA support multi-effects or digital pedals, while the 4 outputs at 9 V / 200 mA cover most classic stompboxes.
Voltage Versatility
Four adjustable outputs offer essential market voltages: 6/9 V, 9/12 V, 9/15 V, and 9/18 V (200 mA). This allows powering high-voltage compressors, preamps, delays, or demanding reverbs without multiplying power bricks.
Protection and Reliability
A dedicated circuit protects each output. In case of a short circuit, the faulty output is cut off, the corresponding red LED turns off, then the output automatically reactivates once the issue is resolved. The U-H-S IC technology provides automatic voltage compensation for optimal stability.
Visual Monitoring and Portable Design
Status LEDs provide immediate reading of output states (12 LEDs, one per output) complemented by a DC input indicator. The compact and lightweight chassis easily integrates into your pedalboard and follows your movements effortlessly.

Questions frequently asked
How many pedals can the Tone City TPS-12 power?
This power supply offers 12 electrically isolated outputs: 4 outputs at 9 V / 500 mA, 4 outputs at 9 V / 200 mA, and 4 adjustable outputs at 200 mA.
What voltages are available on the adjustable outputs?
The four adjustable outputs provide respectively 6/9 V, 9/12 V, 9/15 V, and 9/18 V, each with a current of 200 mA. They allow powering pedals that require a voltage different from the standard 9 V.
Are the outputs isolated to eliminate hum?
Each output benefits from electrical isolation, designed to prevent ground loops and hum in an effects chain. This architecture separates the power supply for connected pedals.
What happens in case of a short circuit on an output?
A dedicated protection circuit cuts only the affected output and its red LED turns off. The U-H-S IC technology provides automatic voltage compensation. After the fault is resolved, the output automatically reactivates.
How can the status of the power outputs be checked?
Twelve status LEDs, one per output, allow visual monitoring of the pedals' power supply. A dedicated indicator also signals the status of the DC input.
