This EBX is based on a handpicked acoustic double bass, recorded carefully and in detail to capture the nuances that make a difference in the studio: attack, roundness, grain, and that slightly muffled yet always vibrant quality. The fingerstyle playing highlights the musicality of the "pizzicato," essential for achieving a precise rhythmic foundation and a coherent low-end spectrum in the mix.

Multi-Source Capture to Shape Your Sound

The recording combines a piezoelectric pickup and five additional microphones. This approach allows exploring different aesthetics, from a direct and defined sound to a wider, more acoustic image. The result: you can choose a more "close," percussive, and clear double bass, or conversely, a rounder and more enveloping tone depending on the role you want it to play in the arrangement.

Presets and MIDI Library for Immediate Workflow
