A "studio" approach designed for stage and pedalboard

With Acoustic Clarity, the idea is not to add a colored "effect" tone, but to regain a sense of definition and air often associated with equalization and harmonic excitation treatments used in the studio. Placed in an acoustic chain (piezo pickup, internal microphone, preamp, DI, console), this pedal aims to restore clarity to the lows and brilliance to the highs, while remaining simple: no menus, no presets, just the essentials to highlight the instrument.

Who is Acoustic Clarity for, and in what contexts does it make a difference?

This pedal is intended for folk and fingerstyle guitarists, acoustic bassists, as well as ukulele, violin, cello, and other amplified instrument players, from beginner to professional level. It is ideal if you play through a sound system, instrument amplifier, or pedalboard setup and want to gain presence in a mix, reduce the "muddy" effect of certain pickups, or make a sound more "hi-fi" without becoming harsh. Live, it helps you hear yourself better and position yourself more clearly; in the studio, it allows quick refinement of an already well-captured tone.

Controls, simplicity, and headroom: a pedal ready to plug in

The operation favors immediate usability: two variable filters LOW and HIGH act on the spectrum extremes to adjust the firmness of the lows and openness of the highs. Input and output levels are fixed at unity gain, facilitating integration into the pedalboard: you adjust character, not volume. The true bypass guarantees a direct signal path when the effect is off. Finally, the internal bipolar 18V (+/-9V) power supply (from a standard 9VDC adapter or a 9V battery) provides a wide dynamic range, useful for handling strong attacks and active preamps without risk of saturation.

Sound

Acoustic Clarity translates into a more "open" and clearer sound: tighter lows (less muddiness and hum) and airier highs (more detail on harmonics, pick, fingers, bow), while preserving the instrument's natural tone. The response remains dynamic and reactive to playing: slight adjustment for subtle presence, or stronger adjustment to make an acoustic instrument stand out in a band mix. It is as much a musical tool as a corrector, particularly effective when seeking clarity without compressing or hardening the tone.
