The equalizer allows adjusting the tonal balance depending on the headphones used and the environment (more brightness to stand out in a mix, or conversely more warmth for comfortable listening). The combination of maple neck and rosewood fingerboard enhances a sharp attack feel and good definition, very appreciated for working right-hand/left-hand cleanliness, chord precision, and note articulation, even at low volume.
