The "OX" Universal Audio Line, Now on Your Pedalboard
OX Stomp brings UA's popular speaker capture approach to the stage: instead of a fixed IR, the pedal models the living response of driven speakers to recover the organic grain of a cabinet recorded in the studio. It integrates after a preamp, an "amp-in-a-box" pedal, or a multi-effects unit, and plugs directly into a PA, FRFR speaker, or audio interface.Who Is It For, and In What Contexts?
Ideal for discerning guitarists in silent live settings, home studios, tours, and mobile sessions. Blues, rock, pop, modern metal, or ambient: the RIG presets cover mix-ready textures, while fine editing allows you to refine a front-of-stage pedalboard or a recording setup. Perfect at the end of the chain to shape a credible "amp + speaker" sound without a real mic.Technical specifications

Questions frequently asked
Can the OX Stomp be connected directly to a PA system or an audio interface?
The two 6.35 mm TS jack outputs allow connection to a PA, a FRFR speaker, or an audio interface. The pedal is placed after a preamp, an amp-in-a-box pedal, or a multi-effects unit.
Can the OX Stomp be used with a tube amp head?
No dummy load is built-in. This pedal is therefore not intended to receive the speaker output of an amplifier and is used with a pedal-level or preamp-level signal.
What cabinets and microphones are available on the Universal Audio UAFX OX Stomp Dynamic Speaker?
The modeling includes 22 cabinets with 10- and 12-inch speakers, as well as 6 studio microphones. The cabinet type, the mic, and its placement can be selected to build the rigs.
What effects are integrated into this speaker simulation pedal?
A 1176-type compressor, an equalizer, and a plate reverb are integrated. The stereo delay offers Dual, Crossover, and Ping-pong modes. Modulation effects are accessible via the app.
Does the OX Stomp support external IR impulse responses?
No IR loader is provided on this model. The simulation relies on its dynamic speaker modeling, with an analog dry path and a buffered bypass.
