A "Traditional" Choice: Ebonite, a Durable Reference
Widely used for clarinet mouthpieces, ebonite is valued for its stability, comfort in the mouth, and consistent sound output. In a "traditional" spirit, it promotes a predictable response and a balanced timbre, suitable for many playing contexts.
For Which Clarinetist and Styles?
This Bb clarinet mouthpiece is suitable for both beginner musicians (seeking ease and control) and intermediate players desiring stable daily performance. Its "traditional" orientation naturally associates it with variety, traditional music, wind orchestra repertoires, and conservatory learning.
Sound and Design
With a 1.27 mm tip opening, this mouthpiece aims for a balance between accessible sound production, clean articulation, and good intonation control. The ebonite contributes to a comfortable feel and a generally centered sound, with steady projection when paired with a well-matched reed.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To complete your setup, you can pair it with Bb clarinet reeds (naturally compatible with this type of mouthpiece) and a Bb clarinet swab for maintenance. Ligature and mouthpiece cap not included : choose a model suited to your mouthpiece dimensions.

Happy with the order in general. It's a shame, however, that I only knew about the follow-up... the day of the reception! Apart from that, no other remarks.
