Vox Apache 2 with amp 2 White

A Modernized Apache: The VOX DNA of the Sixties, Plug-and-Play Version

With the APC-2, VOX updates the idea of the "autonomous" guitar inspired by its iconic 1960s models. The concept is clear: maintain a retro visual identity and a signature in-house sound while integrating a complete chain (amplification, diffusion, effects, and rhythms) into the instrument. The result: an electric guitar designed for immediate inspiration, daily practice, and all situations where you want to play quickly, lightly, and without setup.

A Guitar Designed to Play Anywhere (Beginners, Intermediates, Creatives)

The Vox APC-2 "Apache 2 White" suits both beginners who want a simple, self-contained instrument and intermediates looking for a musical "notebook" to work on riffs, grooves, and arrangement ideas. The rhythm families and built-in effects make it comfortable in pop, rock, blues, funk, jazz, as well as for working on rhythmic placement with more modern colors.

Sound

At the heart of the APC-2, the built-in analog amplifier delivers a clearly VOX-typed character inspired by the AC30: bright highs, present mids, and a dynamic response that highlights right-hand/left-hand nuances. The Gain + Boost combo allows switching from a crisp clean to a thicker saturation, while Tone adjusts the overall balance and Volume controls the output level. The 2 pickups offer complementary tones to vary attack and sustain depending on styles and chosen effects. On the diffusion side, the omnidirectional Tectonic Audio speaker, supported by two passive radiators, surprises with its even projection: good intelligibility is maintained even off-axis, practical for "on-the-go" playing or informal rehearsals.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To fully enjoy autonomy, plan for a set of AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH rechargeable). A set of 6-string electric guitar strings with ball ends will fit the instrument's format, featuring a short scale of 24" / 610 mm. Finally, a universal guitar stand is a simple solution to secure the instrument between sessions.
