Woodbrass WCL200E - Eb (17 Keys)

A Woodbrass Clarinet Designed for Learning

With its range of wind instruments, Woodbrass aims for a simple goal: to offer accessible models suited for beginners and carefully checked. This clarinet fits this philosophy by prioritizing ease of use, reliability, and reassuring ergonomics, while maintaining the essential standards of the Boehm system to learn the right habits from the start.

For Whom and in Which Styles?

This Eb clarinet is primarily intended for beginners (children, teenagers, adults) looking for a manageable instrument, as well as musicians wishing to explore the "small clarinet" as a complement. Its size and key suit ensembles, brass bands, and certain repertoires where the Eb clarinet is appreciated for its brighter character, while remaining relevant for learning the basics (fingerings, articulation, intonation).

Sound and Design

The ABS body provides good resistance to temperature variations and everyday minor impacts, a real plus for a first instrument. The clarinet offers a clear timbre and direct response, designed to facilitate sound production and note stability from the first weeks. The Boehm keywork with 17 keys and 6 rings ensures a standard fingering logic, with a twelfth key to access the upper register. The leather pads promote airtightness, thus intonation and homogeneity between registers, while the silver-plated nickel silver mechanics combine comfort, durability, and a solid feel.

Included Accessories

To start without additional purchases, the clarinet comes with the essentials: a case for transport, a mouthpiece with mouthpiece cap, a ligature, and a cleaning swab cloth for interior maintenance after each session (essential to preserve response and pad longevity).
