A Study Reference Inspired by the "Stradivarius" Tradition
The Yamaha V7G follows the spirit of "Stradivarius" model violins, an iconic shape that has marked the history of lutherie and remains a reference base for learning. At Yamaha, this approach is reflected in an instrument assembled in the workshop with attention to manufacturing and finishing details, offering a coherent, reliable violin that is pleasant to play daily.
For Whom and For What Uses?
This acoustic violin in 1/4 size is primarily aimed at beginners (and young musicians) who want a serious instrument to start under good conditions. It is also very suitable for music schools or private lessons, with a repertoire ranging from classical music to early study pieces, not forgetting traditional melodies as the student gains confidence.
Sound Quality
The spruce top generally provides clarity, projection, and good attack precision-valuable qualities for working on intonation and articulation. The maple back and neck contribute to register definition and overall instrument stability. The ebony fingerboard, pegs, and chinrest offer durable and consistent contact. Finally, the nuanced oil varnish, applied with a brush, completes the whole by promoting a balance between resonance and control while highlighting the wood's aesthetics.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
This violin is delivered complete with a case, bow, and rosin, allowing you to start playing immediately. To remain perfectly suited to the 1/4 size, prioritize consumables of the same size (for example, a 1/4 size string set) if replacements become necessary.
