CLP-845: The Clavinova Balance Between Piano Tradition and Modern Comfort
Designed to bring the acoustic piano experience closer to the home environment, the Yamaha Clavinova CLP-845 positions itself as a demanding instrument, intended both for serious study and performance. In the Clavinova spirit, it combines a refined touch, nuanced sound response, and practical features (headphones, recording, Bluetooth) to naturally integrate into the pianist's daily life.
Keyboard Design
The 88-note GrandTouch-S emphasizes precision and consistency: wooden white keys, synthetic ivory/ebony coating for better grip, and escapement for a more authentic sensation in dynamics. The sensitivity curves (hard1, hard2, medium, soft1, soft2, fixed) allow you to adapt the keyboard response to your technique, from dynamic playing to lighter touch.
Sound Quality
The sound foundation is based on two reference pianos (CFX and Bosendorfer Imperial) to cover a wide spectrum, from clarity and attack to a more singing roundness. The VRM (Virtual Resonance Modeling) and piano expression modeling enhance the sense of depth, especially in resonances and dynamic transitions. For headphone playing, the binaural sampling of the "CFX Grand" improves spatial perception, while the 256-note polyphony, 2 x 30 W amplification, and 16 cm speakers with diffuser ensure rich and detailed projection.
