Keyboard Design

The playing experience is based on a GrandTouch 88-key keyboard with wooden keys (white keys only), synthetic ebony and ivory surfaces for better grip, and escapement to replicate the feel of the let-off point. The response is refined by linear graded hammers across 88 keys and counterweights, useful for balancing the sensation between controlled pianissimo and sharp attacks. Sensitivity offers several curves (Hard2, Hard1, Medium, Soft1, Soft2, Fixed) to adapt dynamics to your technique, repertoire, and playing comfort. Regarding pedals, the instrument includes 3 pedals (Damper with half-pedal function, Sostenuto, Soft) with GrandTouch Pedals and GP Response Damper for a more progressive and musical sustain response.

Sound Quality

The sound generation highlights two references: Yamaha CFX and Bosendorfer Imperial, with binaural sampling (for "CFX Grand" and "Bosendorfer") to achieve a more immersive stereo image on headphones. To enhance realism, it features Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) and Grand Expression Modeling, which reinforce the sense of depth (resonances, note interaction, musical behavior of dynamics). Maximum polyphony reaches 256 notes, ideal for pedal-heavy pieces, sound layering, and dense arrangements. The palette includes 53 voices + 480 XG voices + 14 Drum/SFX kits, with compatibility for XG (GM), GS (song playback), and GM2 (song playback). The internal amplification stands out with a multi-way architecture: (45 W + 30 W + 40 W) x 2, and a speaker system (16 cm with diffuser + 8 cm with diffuser + 2.5 cm dome with bidirectional horn) x 2, including Spruce Cone Speaker for a more organic harmonic reproduction.
