A Clavinova CSP-200 Designed Like a Grand Piano, Without Compromising the Experience
Part of the Clavinova CSP-200 series, the CSP-295GP builds on the technology base of the CSP-295 while dressing it in a cabinet inspired by the grand piano. The goal is clear: to offer a prestigious visual presence and a more "instrument-like" feel daily, while maintaining the modern approach of the CSP range, focused on accompaniment, learning, and the joy of playing quickly thanks to guidance and the app.Keyboard Design
The CSP-295GP features a GrandTouch 88-note keyboard with wooden keys (white keys only), ebony and synthetic ivory surfaces, and escapement to provide sensations close to an acoustic piano. The mechanism benefits from a linear gradation across the entire keyboard, with 88-note graded hammers and counterweights to improve control in pianissimo as well as in more forceful attacks. The sensitivity offers several curves (Soft2, Soft1, Medium, Hard1, Hard2) as well as a Fixed mode, to finely adapt the response to your playing style.Sound Quality
The piano section relies on the Yamaha CFX and Bosendorfer Imperial voices, with binaural sampling for the "CFX Grand" and "Bosendorfer" to achieve more natural headphone listening, close to a concert hall experience. The Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) and Grand Expression Modeling technologies enhance realism by working on resonance and expressive richness according to touch. With a maximum polyphony of 256 notes and a powerful sound system based on Grand Acoustic Imaging, the CSP-295GP delivers a rich, detailed, and dynamic sound, supported by generous amplification and a speaker system including spruce cones and an optimized port.Built-in Effects
- Reverb (65 types)
- Master EQ (5 types)
- Vocal Harmony (44 types)
- Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC), Stereophonic Optimizer
- as well as playing modes Dual/Layers and Split to layer or split the keyboard.
