Questions frequently asked
Is this stand compatible with a 12-inch snare drum?
The SS662 is designed for 12-inch snare drums and smaller. It thus meets the needs of small drums used on compact kits or as a side snare.
What base does the Yamaha SS662 use?
The base is of the single type, in accordance with the specifications announced for this model.
Is the SS662 suitable for a small effect snare?
Its compatibility with diameters of 12 inches and below allows it to be used with an effect snare or side snare. The compact format facilitates its integration into a hybrid setup. The reduced footprint is suitable for configurations where space around the kit is limited.
Is this snare stand suited for frequent transport?
The design prioritizes optimized weight and discreet size. This model is therefore suitable for rehearsals and performances in small venues where compact hardware is desired.
Does a compact stand affect playing on a small-diameter snare drum?
A well-positioned support helps maintain a natural stroke and good rimshot clarity on a small diameter snare drum. The design of the SS662 is intended for this type of use.
