The history of Jupiter begins in 1930. That year, the company KHS International (the parent company of the brand) decided to venture into the manufacturing of educational and cultural products. A choice reflecting the company's initials, standing for "Kong Hsue Sheh", meaning "a company dedicated to education and culture." An ambition still current for Jupiter.

It was in 1980 that the Jupiter wind instrument range was launched, in the heart of a factory located about fifty kilometers from Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. The attention and care given to the smallest details have become a way of life in these manufacturing workshops. From design to production, each Jupiter saxophone, clarinet, flute, and brass instrument is a true concentration of creativity and technical expertise. Thanks to its precision equipment and the know-how of its technicians, the Jupiter brand has established itself as a key player in the world of brass and woodwind instrument making.

Today, Jupiter is increasingly successful among students and their teachers, attracted by instruments combining quality and accessibility. These strengths allow the brand to assert its presence in all major global markets.
