Jupiter JTR1110RSQ

A Bb Trumpet Designed for Versatility, in the Spirit of Jupiter

Renowned for offering accessible and robust instruments, the Jupiter brand targets musicians seeking a serious, well-finished instrument suited for regular use. This Bb trumpet fits this approach: a design focused on playing comfort, reliable mechanics, and material choices that promote a homogeneous and pleasant sound, both for daily practice and ensemble rehearsals.

For Which Musician and Styles

Tuned in Bb (the standard for brass bands, wind orchestras, jazz, and contemporary music), this trumpet is especially suitable for beginners and intermediate players looking for a stable and responsive instrument. It is well suited for classical (intonation work, articulation), variety, and brass band styles, while remaining relevant for approaching jazz thanks to smooth emission and good presence in the midrange.

Sound and Design

The combination of a 11.70 mm bore and a 123 mm bell promotes controlled projection, with good ease of sound production and a pleasing sense of control across dynamics. The rose copper bell adds warmth and roundness to the timbre, while the silver plating helps maintain definition and a clear attack. In terms of playability, the Monel pistons are a real asset for consistency: the action remains smooth, aiding secure fast passages and endurance during long sessions.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

For routine maintenance, a trumpet cleaning kit (brushes/snake) and piston oil will be useful daily complements. The included Jupiter Deluxe case already ensures secure transport, practical for lessons, rehearsals, and travel.
