Who is this Bb trumpet for?

The JTR1110 targets intermediate musicians looking to advance, as well as advanced or professional players seeking a versatile Bb trumpet. It is particularly convincing in big band settings (where presence and roundness are sought), but it also fits well in orchestras, brass bands, variety music, and most ensemble formations thanks to its clean and easily placed sound.

Sound and design

With its Bb tuning, the JTR1110 remains in the most commonly used standard for orchestras and contemporary music. Its 11.70 mm bore (internal diameter of the main tubing) promotes a comfortable blowing sensation, with a good balance between resistance and openness. The 123 mm bell contributes to controlled projection, while the presence of lacquered rose brass provides a signature often described as more round and warm, with less aggressive brightness.

The inverted leadpipe is designed for more direct airflow, helping to achieve a more natural emission and a "clean" sound, especially in soft or legato passages. Components made of nickel silver (copper-nickel-zinc alloy) on certain parts contribute to durability and stability, and the mother-of-pearl piston buttons add an elegant finish and pleasant feel under the fingers.
